Starfire Bakery started as a home bakery in 2019 selling baked goods at our local farmer’s market. As well as making celebration cakes and goodies for anyone looking for something delicious. We moved to Vermont in 2020, our dream spot. A place we always wanted to watch our kids grow and continue our food adventure. We spent lots of time delivering all over southern Vermont and selling out of our home, meeting great people and creating wonderful relationships. This all led us to 103 W Main St here in Wilmington, our new home. We couldn’t ask for a better place to share all that we love with our patrons.

Starfire Bakery was created by Carolyn and Andrew. Carolyn has had a passion for mixing up dough and creaming butter as long as she can remember. After meeting Andrew who also shares a deep love of the savory and sweet, they dreamt up an idea of one day opening a bakery of their own.

We spent many years visiting bakeries, food spots and having late night discussions about our aspirations. We have always been inspired by the Italian pastries in the north end of Boston we would frequent on our travels there. We have a deep appreciation for the use of spices and flavors found in Mediterranean, middle eastern & European foods.

Here at Starfire Bakery our goal to share the things we love with you. A mix of technique but also appreciation for comfort food that needs not be redone. We fell in love with Vermont from the beginning and love the seasonal offerings New England has to offer. We hope you will find the best of the both worlds when you come through our doors.
